By lord Ayyappa`s grace and our
guruswami`s advice our annual yatra is to start on 08-01-2006 (irumudi) and end
on 14-01-06.The venue for Irunudi is Shri Guruvayoorappan pravasana mandapam
.Yatrikas are reminded the following decisions of our general body decisions
taken with an interest to grow our sabha with full honour and colour.
1. Unless
due unforeseen circumstances, family, physical reasons MALA shall be adorned
only through Guruswami.
2. All of
those who joins our yatra should be either an ordinary or a life member, and
those who are not should become member by paying Rs11/201 respectively for
ord/Life membership. This will apply to anyone who has the Irumudi on some
other date depending on their date of departure., and only Guruswami can amend
or alter this rule.
3. Laksharchana
will be held on 25-12-2005 at Shri
Guruvayoorappan Temple and all our yatrikas should be present without any
excuse. Pl note that the day is a holiday declared by both central & state
governments.
4. The
amount fixed provisionally is Rs.1600/-
and those of the yatrikas joining our sabha`s yatra should pay Rs.1000/-
positively before 07-11-05 and the balance before 25th,Dec.05.
5. Those who wants to avail the concession of
the Railways for seniors and children
should give us a copy of their birth certificate or any other documents
to prove their age., and those who do not provide the same will not get
concession we offer and we will book only full adult tickets.
6. Those
who decides to abandon the yatra for whatever reasons it may be shall forego an
amount equal to cancellation charges, donation of Rs.200/- towards the efforts
taken by sabha.
7. Those
who do not pay the amount before the stipulated date shall book their own
tickets and it should be positively noted that they will occupy the same
seat/birth and sabha will not make arrangements to accommodate them in places
that suits them due being in a group.
8. Ours
is a big group of people and you can understand the difficulties of getting
suitable accommodation, transportation, and food. Though your sabha`s
volunteers use all their influence to get all the help they may fail in some
cases and this should not be treated as an act of deficiency. In other words I
am bringing home this point and expect that you do not expect comforts that you may get in your home or in your
business place and also that the volunteers
including your secretary and other office-bearers pay not a penny less
than what others pay, and without giving importance to their status in life
they serve us as a GOD sent chance to serve Ayyappas , and let us think about
those millions who sleep in the open and perform what all we do in a room We shall feel contended with what we get and
should be happy if we get more.
9. Those
who require Irumudi bag with side bags can contact the undersigned and get the
same by payment of RS.80/-with our sabha's name and sr.no embossed.
Incidentally those who have already the bag supplied by us are requested to
give the number allocated to help us in the yatra.

11. Those
who wants to have pooja in their house should fix the same with Guruswami and
transportation for him should be arranged. If the pooja is outside Nanganallur
it is suggested that a van can be arranged to bring more yatrikas. First come
will be first served and it is suggested that there should be only one pooja on
a day so that all can participate and if more than one is fixed it becomes a
problem to members and this results in a minimum attendance. Our members will
be given first preference if booked well in advance.
